Gauteng’s must-see tourist destination
For around 50 years the park has brought people closer to Africa’s wildlife. In July 2016 it moved to its new home on a 1,200-hectare reserve near Lanseria.

Who we are
Lion & Safari Park is home to lions, cheetahs, hyenas, leopards, wild dogs, sable antelope, kudu and nyala. Giraffes, ostriches and antelope roam freely across the reserve, and you can feed the giraffes from our feeding platform.
Ways to explore
4×4 trails
Trails for soft-roaders, off-roaders and advanced drivers, with uphill climbs, river crossings and rocky terrain.
A paradise for children
A playground next to the restaurants is perfect for birthday parties and school visits, and one child under 12 goes free per paying adult on all activities.
Restaurant and shops
The Wetlands Restaurant overlooks grazing antelope, and the 5 Dome Shopping Experience sells hand-crafted curios, jewellery and clothing. We also host conferences and events: see our venue.
